Physician Experiences with Medivo
“Medivo and its Diabetes Patient Program took no work on my part, and was incredibly simple and useful for my patients. Medivo identified patients who needed tests by analyzing their lab results, and then helped them get a new HgA1c, test result education, and reminders to return to the office for a visit.
Over the course of the program, Medivo helped identify over 100 of my diabetic patients that otherwise might not have been tested and received follow-up appointments. My patients show up in the office with an updated lab result in the chart and I did not have to waste a visit or risk losing them to follow up by ordering lab tests.
The program is unique, creative, easy, and helped my patients to get good care.”

“I enrolled my patients in a Medivo Low Testosterone Patient Program because I felt it could help screen people that were falling through the cracks. I was comfortable with the approach as Medivo uses guidelines and best evidence to determine which of my patients needed to be screened. When I started receiving the Medivo’s PatientPath reports about my patients, I was amazed at how many people were candidates for treatment that I may have never discovered otherwise. The best part was that these men were showing up in my clinic with their lab results, educated, and ready to help me make treatment decisions.”

“I have so many patients on Plavix that haven’t been tested and it is nearly impossible to try to communicate with all of them. Medivo finds the patients, and then reaches out to them, gets them tested, and finally makes sure they have the right information so that when they come in to see me, I can make the best treatment decisions for them.”
Dr. Safirstein, Cardiologist from New Jersey
“I was asked to pilot a Medivo Rheumatology Patient Program to see if it would be helpful to my patients. I was skeptical since the treatment of rheumatoid patients takes a lot of clinical judgment and analyzing lab test data may not be at all useful.
My patients started getting scheduled for follow-up visits and I was impressed to see that the algorithms that were used to get each patient their own personalized list of necessary tests actually did help me in treating each patient with a more consistent context of current lab data.
After enrolling in the program, I noticed my clinical decisions were based on more data than I had in the past.
Kudos to the Medivo group for developing a much more convenient, cost-effective, and quality-oriented service for my patients. They are getting the best care I can deliver, now that I have the data I need when I need it.”
